Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 1 Summary
The episode begins with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, the demon slayers, being summoned by the Hashira, the elite warriors of the Demon Slayer Corps. The Hashira inform them of a new mission to investigate a string of disappearances in a nearby town. They suspect that a demon is behind the disappearances and want the demon slayers to investigate.
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke set out for the town to begin their investigation. Along the way, they encounter a young girl named Kanao who is being chased by a demon. The demon slayers intervene and manage to defeat the demon, but Kanao is badly injured.
The demon slayers take Kanao to a nearby village to receive medical treatment. While there, they learn that Kanao was on a mission to retrieve a special medicine that could potentially cure her older sister’s illness. The medicine was stolen by the demon who attacked Kanao, and now she is unable to complete her mission.
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke decide to help Kanao complete her mission and retrieve the stolen medicine. They track down the demon who stole the medicine, but it turns out to be a powerful demon who they are unable to defeat. In the end, the demon slayers are forced to retreat and come up with a new plan to defeat the demon.
